The Avesnois eco-museum

Consisting of four sites located at emblematic places around the region, and brought together under the theme of “Labour”, the Avesnois museum reflects the area's industrial heritage and local crafts based on wood (MBJ Felleries), glass (AMV Trelon), landscape (MDB Sains du Nord) and textiles (MTVS Fourmies). Placing people at the centre of their environment, the museum today has an interdisciplinary and contemporary approach, fostering links between the past, present, and future.
